Universities and colleges

Your students speak dozens of languages. Now your lectures can, too.

International students, visiting scholars and their families shouldn't need a dictionary to follow week one. PTT puts every lecture, office hour and help desk in the language each person understands best.

Across campus

From the lecture hall to the help desk.

International students don't stop being international when class ends. PTT goes everywhere they do.

Lectures with live captions

Stream the lecture and let every student read along in their own language, or listen in a natural voice.

Recordings and transcripts

Every broadcast is recorded with a clickable, translated transcript for review before the exam.

Office hours and advising

Questions in Korean, answers in English, everybody understood. In chat or on a video call.

Orientation and family weekends

Parents and families join as guests and follow along in their own language.

Help desks and front counters

Admissions, housing, financial aid and IT support without the pointing.

Study abroad and field trips

Photos, GPS pins and translation in one thread, wherever the group wanders.

Live captions for lectures

Every seat gets a translator. Nobody has to sit in the front row.

Go live from the lecture hall and each student picks a caption language on their own phone or laptop. Latecomers catch up with the transcript; everyone reviews with the recording.

  • Students need no account and no app: open the page, pick a language.
  • Embed the player in your course site or learning portal with one embed code.
  • Captions can be read aloud in a natural voice, from 555 voices.
  • Upload last semester's recordings as MP4 or MP3 for captioned, translated playback.

Do students need to install anything?

Can we put the live player in our learning portal?

Yes. Each stream comes with an embed code you can paste into any web page, including course sites.

Can families take part?

Yes. Parents and families can join public chats with a free guest pass and follow along in their own language.

How many languages can students choose from?

81 languages for translation and captions, with 555 natural voices for listening.

Can students review a lecture later?

Does PTT replace our interpreters and disability services?
